Women Leading with Compassion in Healthcare

The nu chapter of KGD

Founded in 2025 at Florida State University by Breanna Wolfschlag, the Nu Chapter of Kappa Gamma Delta was established to support and prepare students pursuing careers in healthcare. The Nu Chapter strives to unite women across a wide range of pre-health disciplines, fostering a community rooted in service, leadership, and shared purpose.

Kappa Gamma Delta is a pre-health sisterhood whose purpose is to cultivate a supportive and well-rounded group of college women while educating members on the process of applying to postgraduate programs, including medical, dental, physician assistant, nursing, and other healthcare-related fields.

By encouraging the development of leadership, professionalism, communication skills, and maturity, the Nu Chapter provides academic, social, and emotional support while promoting individuality, unity, and diversity. These values empower members to become confident, compassionate, and competitive applicants for future professional programs.

Kappa Gamma Delta welcomes individuals of all gender identities or expressions, races, ethnicities, nationalities, sexual orientations, religions, cultures, and backgrounds.
